What are Roloc Discs?
Roloc Unitized Abrasive Discs are an abrasive-filled product that makes deburring, blending, finishing, polishing, and cleaning surfaces easier than ever before. What is unitized material?
Unitized tools are made from compressed and bonded layers of non-woven abrasive. They’re commonly used for surface preparation applications including deburring, cleaning and finishing on composites, turbine blades and aerospace parts, medical instruments and tools.
What to use these discs for?
These discs achieve professional results in weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, or blending and finishing on a variety of metals, plastics and composites. Roloc quick change discs are smaller discs designed to be easily and quickly attach onto a Roloc disc pad, for convenient disc changes between different tasks, or in multi-step finishing processes.
The Roloc system provides a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of available Roloc discs allows the operator to swap from one application to the next in just seconds. The discs allow use of both the edge and surface of the wheel without interruption of mounting hardware. Combining abrasives with the fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool, reducing the risk of part discolouration and warping. The fibres are load resistant and keep the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibres, which also extends the life of the disc.
