We have a great deal of experience polishing right down to micron level, this means we have the best exertise in producing a top quality finish. We have a range of compound bars which are perhaps not so recognisable but very popular and worth having a go with.
Cutting
Use these compounds first with harder mops and felts to take out scratches and imperfections. Use after emery/wet and dry for best results.
Apollo-Tripoli- is a brown bar used for the first cut. It is especially good on soft metals, particularly brass and bronze. Great for Titanium too!
*Tripoli abrasive grain is produced from a special type of naturally occurring
silica which is particularly suited to the polishing and finishing of softer
materials.
Abracut– is a very coarse black bar which is ideal for cutting hard metals. Usually it is used on ferrous metals such as Steel.
All in One
2000D-is a green all round bar, not to be confused with green Dialux. It both cuts and finishes. To cut, use it with a hard mop such as a white stitched mop,a dry sisal mop or a hard mounted felt. To finish use with a softer material such as a loose fold Mop (G material, Reflex or WDR).
Finishing
309BX– is a great white compound for getting a bright finish on all metals.
FF9– is the finest white compound available, for the ultimate mirror finish.
