Application:
The flexibility offers unique qualities to the user, especially when polishing/abrading curved or circumferential surfaces, preventing the formation of “flats” which often happens when using stones, normal files or even conventional papers. Very low microinch finishes are achievable on anything from very hard steels, titanium, nimomic alloys, heavy metals and hard plastics. Many engineers attach great importance to the fact that the ‘grit’ is retained during operations, whereas conventional abrasives lose theirs. This can cause problems in some fields of engineering.

MICROMESH® Regular is more flexible than the MX grade, with a lighter backing.
